Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 12, 2026
1. Who We Are
PAID is operated by SIREN LLC, a Georgia limited liability company, doing business as “PAID” (staypaid.app).
SIREN LLC
730 Peachtree Street NE, Ste 570
Atlanta, GA 30308
United States
2. Who This Policy Covers
This Policy applies to two kinds of users:
“Merchant” means any individual or business using PAID to invoice for and collect payment for goods or services — including contractors, tradespeople, vendors, and independent service providers.
- Merchants — individuals who create a PAID account, connect a Stripe account, and use PAID to invoice and get paid for goods or services.
- Payers — individuals who pay a merchant through a PAID payment link or QR code. Payers do not create a PAID account; you can pay without ever registering.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information merchants provide to PAID directly
- Account information: email address, name, business name, phone number, and location as entered at signup.
- Invoices you create: amount, item or service description, job reference, notes, and any photo you upload as proof of work or service.
- Items you save for reuse, including their name and default price.
- If you opt into PAID's referral or affiliate program: your referral code, who referred you (if applicable), and your affiliate enrollment status and date.
3.2 Information about your Stripe connection
When you connect a Stripe account to accept payments, PAID stores only:
- Your Stripe account ID and its verification/capability status (whether charges and payouts are enabled, and which requirements, if any, are still outstanding).
- If you choose instant payout to a debit card: the card's brand and last four digits, and a reference to the Stripe token used to set it up.
PAID does not receive or store your Social Security number, date of birth, government ID, home address, or bank account/routing number. These are submitted by your device directly to Stripe through Stripe’s own secure onboarding forms, and never pass through PAID’s servers.
The one partial exception: if you add a debit card for instant payouts, your card number is sent directly to Stripe by your browser and converted into a single-use, secure token. That token — not your card number — is briefly used by our systems to complete setup with Stripe, then discarded.
3.3 Information about payers
If you pay an invoice through PAID, you do not create an account. Any payment details you enter (card number, bank information, etc.) go directly to Stripe and are never received or stored by PAID. The only information PAID retains about a payment is what the merchant entered about you when creating the invoice (such as a name, email, or phone number you gave them), and a receipt reference provided by Stripe.
3.4 Information we do not collect
PAID does not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers. Server error logs may capture technical error messages for debugging purposes, but do not contain payment details or the sensitive onboarding information described above.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above to:
- Operate your account and let you create invoices, items, and payment links.
- Facilitate payment processing through Stripe.
- Calculate and track affiliate rebates, if you're enrolled in that program.
- Communicate with you about your account (such as email confirmation and password resets).
- Maintain the security and integrity of the platform.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Who We Share Information With
- Stripe, Inc. — our payment processor. Stripe independently collects and verifies identity and banking information as required by law (KYC/AML) and processes all payments. Stripe acts as an independent controller of the information it collects directly from you, and as our payment subprocessor for the transaction data described above. Stripe’s own privacy policy governs the information it collects directly.
- Our cloud platform providers — database, authentication, and file storage services hosted on cloud infrastructure located in the United States.
- AI assistant integrations (optional, merchant-initiated). If you choose to connect PAID to an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT, that assistant can access your invoices, items, and revenue summary on your behalf, using an authorization you personally grant and can revoke at any time. Data you access this way is transmitted to and processed by the AI provider you chose, under that provider’s own terms and privacy policy — PAID does not control how that provider handles it. This only happens if you actively set up the connection; it is never enabled by default.
- We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
- We may disclose information if required by law, to prevent fraud, or to protect the rights and safety of PAID, our users, or others.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If you’d like your data deleted, contact us through the Contact form in your PAID account (Profile → Contact Us); we will remove your profile, invoice, item, photo, and affiliate records within 30 days, except where we’re required to retain certain records for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or legal purposes. Stripe independently retains transaction and identity-verification records under its own legal obligations, which PAID cannot delete on your behalf.
For formal legal notices, privacy requests, or if you’re not a PAID account holder, you may also write to us at:

7. Your Choices
- You can update or delete your account information at any time by contacting us.
- You can disconnect any AI assistant integration at any time from your assistant's own connector settings.
- You can opt out of the affiliate program at any time.
8. Children’s Privacy
PAID is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Merchant accounts require you to be at least 18 years old.
9. Security
We rely on Stripe for handling of sensitive payment and identity information, and on our cloud platform providers for account and application data, both of which maintain their own security and compliance programs. Proof-of-work photos are stored in a private storage bucket and are only accessible via short-lived, signed links.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We’ll update the effective date above when we do, and for material changes, we’ll make a reasonable effort to notify active merchants.
